Caroline Cole Power, a human resources executive and entrepreneur, is the CEO of Canadian HR Solutions, Inc. She spent her early career in leadership roles at General Electric (GE) Capital beginning in the company’s Canadian commercial equipment financing operation and later transferring to corporate headquarters in Connecticut.  

After GE she held executive positions at Ernst & Young and the Business Development Bank of Canada. Her last industry role was senior vice president of human resources in the Canadian banking sector. 

In 2022, Power was named to the Accomplished Black Canadian Women: Top 100 list.   In 2020 she was named to Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 by WXN. In 2019, Canadian HR Solutions completed an 18-month Supplier Development program with Accenture. In 2018 Sensitivity Training Canada and Canadian HR Academy won Canadian HR Reporter’s Readers’ Choice Award in the category of Training and Development. They also won this award in 2017. In 2017 Power was awarded Wilfrid Laurier University’s top ’30 in 30 Award’ in the Professional Development and Lifelong-Learning category. 

She currently holds the chartered professionals human resources (CPHR) designation, a master of education (M Ed) degree from the University of Toronto, an MBA degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, the certified talent management practitioner (CTMP) certification, a bachelor of administrative studies (BBA) degree from York University, the SHRM-SCP designation, a post-graduate executive development diploma from Richard Ivey School of Business, and a PhD-ABD from the University of Leicester.  

Her memberships are with the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, CPHR Alberta, and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
