Critical Approaches to South Asian Studies Workshop

Critical Approaches to South Asian Studies Workshop

The fourth annual Critical Approaches to South Asian Studies explored the intersections of critical race and area studies.  After two days of presentations and discussions, the workshop closed with an engaging panel on transnational activism.  Presentations included a keynote by Kamala Visweswaran on genocide and diaspora, a film screening and seminar with Patricia Mohammed, a panel on critical race and area studies, and a round table on race and pedagogy.
