I am a doctoral student in social anthropology. I am interested in gender and health studies. My master’s thesis focused on concepts related to (oral) health in biomedicine and Chinese medicine. In my doctoral project, I am exploring concepts and practices of feminine beauty and health in southern China with a focus on cosmetic surgery.
