Mary Young has a PhD in political science from York University. She has taught courses as adjunct faculty at several Ontario universities on agro-food systems, political ecology, and international development. Mary is currently working in the professional regulatory sector but maintains ties to YCAR through ongoing research, particularly on the subject of other diplomacies in the making of Canada-Asian relations. Her most recent research project is an edited volume on other diplomacies that is currently in progress.
