York University is investing over $40M in a new neuroscience facility adjacent to the Sherman Health Science Centre. This new facility will gather a community of researchers and spawn new transdisciplinary research that translates across scales of description of brain and behavior using state-of-the-art neuroscience methods including neurophysiology, neuroimaging, functional ultrasound for high-resolution imaging of brain function and vasculature, functional near-infrared spectroscopy, and EEG. Research will address basic and applied questions about how we see and move, how we navigate and remember, and how we develop and age.
