Over the past several months, York University UIT has been working on upgrading the Insight Enterprise Data Warehouse system. This upcoming Wednesday, April 2, we are going live with our newly upgraded system. This is a major upgrade; it is changing the way Insight looks, and interacts. The new system has more features that we will be steadily rolling out, and has a more vibrant interface.
All your permissions and access will be the same. Simply use your Passport York account as normal to access the system. You will continue to have access to the same reports and dashboards as you currently have; the report and dashboard data will not be affected.
For your benefit, we have created two PDF documents to help you with this upgrade. The first document (insight_upgrade_changes.pdf) shows the differences between the existing and new systems. The second document (insight_handbook.pdf) is the user guide similar to what is available now, but is in the context of the new system.
