Faculty, staff and students are asked to follow snow route parking procedures during the winter season from Nov. 15 to March. 30, 2026.
Snow routes
The Keele Campus snow route policy is there to ensure emergency vehicles can safely access the campus and is in effect from Nov. 15 until March 30, 2026. Vehicles parked in snow routes could be ticketed or relocated.
Snow routes include Passy Crescent, Assiniboine Road, Ottawa Road and other designated areas across the campus. Please follow signage.
Parking restrictions
Parking is not permitted on the Keele Campus between 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. regardless of weather conditions. This applies to both pay machines and HONK Mobile sites.
Snow clearing
York's fleet of snow-removal vehicles will operate during restricted hours between November and March. Vehicles parked along snow routes during these times will be tagged and/or towed.
