We are pleased to share a new hover functionality on our websites. After listening to advise from York community members as well as general user feedback, we have implemented the hover over our top menu on all websites on the York 2020 Theme. This new feature will allow you to drag your cursor over the menu and see all the dropdown menu items, requiring one less click to get to those pages. This feature is only available on desktop browsing, and our website and WordPress Theme will continue to be a mobile-first experience. However after investigation, with this update we were able to improve the desktop user experience without compromising the mobile user experience.
