Offered through the Glendon Digital Media Lab, this hands-on course takes you from an initial idea to a finished interview or podcast project. You’ll learn how to identify your audience, develop engaging content, prepare and conduct effective interviews, and bring your stories to life using media equipment and editing software. As you develop your own project, you’ll build practical skills in interviewing, recording, storytelling, and editing that you can apply to future creative, professional, or community work.

The Glendon Digital Media Lab (GDML) is a dedicated space for digital media creation and hands-on exploration. Located in York Hall 144, the lab gives learners access to professional equipment and technology, including cameras, microphones, audio recorders, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D printers, and virtual reality headsets. Whether you're working on an academic, professional, or personal project, the GDML provides the tools, space, and media support to help you create and experiment.
