Glendon Student Newsletter

The Glendon Student Newsletter is a weekly newsletter sent out to Glendon students through email. It contains information about news related to York University/ Glendon Campus as well as events and opportunities for students (E.g. Job opportunities, available scholarships etc.)

Please be advised that the newsletter will be sent on a monthly basis during summer. If you would like your message to be included in the next newsletter, please submit it by Thursday, June 1st, 5PM EST. 

The next newsletter will be sent on Monday, June 5th.

EXPECTATIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS

Your message must:

  • be short and concise (maximum 250 characters) and written in both French and English
  • include a catchy and intriguing title in both languages
  • include a link to further information or include contact information such as an email address
  • either be regarding an event, an announcement, a call-out, or an opportunity

For further clarification of these 4 categories, see the following definitions and examples:

Definition: a planned public or social occasion (E.g. Pub night)

YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS: Frost Week

Definition: a public statement regarding a fact or occurrence (E.g. due dates)

Example:

November 10th is the last day to drop courses without receiving a grade!

Definition: a request for the public to take action (E.g. Write for Pro Tem!)

Notre prochaine date limite pour nous soumettre un article sera le vendredi, 11 novembre. Envoyez vos articles, critiques, recettes préférées, poèmes ou même vos photos et vos illustrations à editor@protemglendon.com.

Definition: an offer for development, a chance or prospect (e.g. a volunteer position)
