Opportunities

The Faculty of Health invites individuals in Canada and internationally who are interested in health research to explore a range of opportunities to participate in research activities at York University. These opportunities support research that advances health care knowledge and practice in Canada and beyond.

Available opportunities include research‑related employment, study participation and visiting scholar programs. Each posting includes information about eligibility, expectations and how to apply. Research Jobs

The positions listed below are research‑related contract roles associated with major research projects within the Faculty of Health. Each position description outlines specific qualifications, responsibilities and application deadlines. Applicants are encouraged to review postings carefully and follow the application instructions provided. Only applications submitted in response to a specific posting will be considered.

Training Opportunities

The International Visiting Research Trainee program is open to full‑time students enrolled at institutions outside Canada who wish to visit York University for one to 12 months to conduct research under the supervision of a York faculty member. Participants must remain enrolled at their home institution and are not eligible to take York University courses or pursue joint degrees involving York.

The Faculty of Health welcomes visiting faculty members, researchers and students who wish to spend up to two academic years at York University while maintaining their academic positions at institutions outside Canada. Visiting scholars contribute to the research community through collaboration, knowledge exchange and scholarly engagement. Recruitment for Research Study

The Faculty of Health is recruiting participants for a neuromechanics research study examining the neuromechanical mechanisms and visual contributions that support balance control in healthy individuals. See study flyer [PDF] for more information.
