International Visiting Research Trainee (IVRT)
The International Visiting Research Trainee program is open to full‑time students enrolled at institutions outside Canada who wish to visit York University for one to 12 months to conduct research under the supervision of a York faculty member. Participants must remain enrolled at their home institution and are not eligible to take York University courses or pursue joint degrees involving York.

Visiting Scholars
The Faculty of Health welcomes visiting faculty members, researchers and students who wish to spend up to two academic years at York University while maintaining their academic positions at institutions outside Canada. Visiting scholars contribute to the research community through collaboration, knowledge exchange and scholarly engagement.
