Rashed graduated in 2006 from then Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies program specializing in Accounting with a minor in Management. He started his career with Sears Canada Inc. in internal audit and then joined KPMG Canada LLP's Risk Consulting practice. After nearly 7 years with KPMG, he moved to Walmart Canada to support US Department of Justice's investigation into their internal controls.  

He is currently the Country Director of SAP Canada Inc.'s Office of Ethics & Compliance and responsible for monitoring and improving their financial and operational controls to mitigate corruption, bribery and fraud risks.  

Rashed is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA,CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International (CCEP-I).
