York University provided me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue a meaningful career in social work. The program’s focus on critical thinking, advocacy, and hands-on learning shaped my approach to supporting individuals and families. My professors and peers challenged me to grow, both personally and professionally, fostering a deep commitment to social justice and community impact. Through York, I built connections that continue to influence my work today. The experience not only prepared me for the realities of the field but also inspired me to stay engaged with the university and contribute to its growing alumni network.
