Stream (Undergraduate)
Synonym(s): Program of Specialization, Area of Concentration
A stream is an identified set and sequence of courses and/or other units of study, research and practice within an area of disciplinary or interdisciplinary study. These are completed in full or partial fulfillment of the requirements for the awarding of a degree.
Normally, a stream will require a minimum of 12 credits in addition to the core credits to advance the depth of the major within the degree program requirements. A stream is recorded on a student's transcript when completed, but does not appear on the degree parchment.
