A pledge is a commitment to make a donation to an organization, however payment is not given immediately, but rather at one or more specified dates in the future (as determined by a payment schedule).

Pledges are used as part of calculating the “Funds Committed” for a campaign, fundraiser or donor, but no “Funds Received”.
