The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is an American standardized test widely used by United States colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is administered by the College Board and is used to assess reading, writing and math. 

At York University, the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test may be considered in combination with their grades for admission to undergraduate degree programs (see program (academic)).
