An Ontario visiting graduate student is a graduate student registered at another Ontario University (the home university) who may take graduate courses at York University (the host university) while remaining registered at their home university without further admission requirements.

Under the OVGS Plan, a graduate student from another Ontario University may complete up to 6 credits in coursework at York University towards any one degree program.

The student pays tuition fees to the home university and is classified as a visiting student at York University where they pay no fees.

If the information is linked to an individual, the Information Security Classification Category changes to Regulated Information.
