A non-degree student is a student who is not pursuing a degree, undergraduate certificate, or diploma program at York University. Non-degree students can be enrolled in a non-degree program at York University or take for-credit courses for personal or professional interest.

Non-degree students include students with non-degree status  and students pursuing non-credit programs with the School of Continuing Studies. 

Non-degree students may pursue non-credit courses and/or programs with the School of Continuing Studies concurrently with a degree, undergraduate certificate, or graduate diploma program.
