Student Residence

Student residence is housing owned and operated by York University to provide students with accommodations on campus during their studies. Student residence also provides a curriculum of social, cultural and educational programs, leadership development opportunities, support services and a sense of community and connection to students.
Student residence is available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Undergraduate residences are academic year (fall and winter terms) with some additional cost options to stay through the winter break and summer months. Graduate residences (York Apartments) are 12-month leases.
Students living at the privately-owned and operated (QUAD at York) or in privately-owned townhouses (The Village at York) located in an urban housing neighbourhood adjacent to the Keele Campus, are not considered to be living in on-campus YorkU student residences.
