The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is an application-based government aid program available to students who satisfy the requirement of Ontario Residency. Based on the government's assessment of a student's educational costs and expected financial resources, OSAP offers a mixture of repayable loans and grants (which are not required to be repaid). 

Through OSAP, students with financial need can apply for financial assistance as either a full-time student, a part-time student, or a student of a micro-credential program. There are also programs offered to assist students in repaying a loan after graduation.
