A course is a unit of teaching that typically lasts one academic term and is led by one or more professors or instructors. A course may be delivered in various ways (see mode of delivery), such as by lecture, seminar, laboratory, tutorial, online or hyflex.
A course is a set of academic activities that are designed for students to attain specific learning outcomes. Students may receive a grade and academic credits after the completion of a course.
Each course can be offered (see course offering) multiple times throughout the academic year. The course can have multiple course sections and modes of delivery in a given term.
