A course waitlist is an electronic list of eligible students who have requested to be enrolled in a course but cannot due to enrolment limits. Eligible students on this list will be offered a seat in the course if space becomes available.

Not all courses or course sections will have a waitlist. Waitlists are created for course sections that are full and/or for sections which limit enrolment based on course access specifications.

A waitlist will normally open with the start of the enrolment period and close prior to the last day to enrol for the session.

Course waitlist rules are managed by each Faculty (academic unit) or department.
