An award cycle refers to the administration of an award for a term or session.

At York University, the Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships (FAAS) Application requires an award cycle to be setup. The award cycle assists staff (Award Administrators) in managing the administrative tasks required to disburse awards to students and include in their student record. This includes the set up of budgets, award applications, adjudication, award decisions, award offers and award payments to students.
