Dr. Marina Morrow

Marina Morrow, PhD is a Professor in the School of Health Policy and Management at York University and Director of the Mad Studies Hub. Marina uses mad and intersectional theoretical frameworks to better understand the social, political, and institutional processes through which mental health policies and practices are developed and how social and health inequities are sustained or attenuated for different populations.

Maria Cappelletti

Maria Cappelletti is a research and project management professional with experience in community-based programming, grant administration, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and knowledge mobilization. She obtained a Master's in Social Anthropology and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from York University. Her areas of research interest include water scarcity and governance, Coloniality/Modernity intersected with immigration, equity, and belonging. She currently works as the Center Coordinator for the Mad Studies Hub as well as Research Project Coordinator in the School of Social Work at Toronto Metropolitan University.
