YCAR is pleased to welcome Soohwan Song to the Centre as a Visiting Scholar for the 2015.2016 academic year.

Mr. Song is Director of the Korean National Assembly. He is interested in the direction of social change needed in Korea, and will be comparing historical changes in parliamentary and political institutions in other countries. He will also be identifying possible directions for more positive national development. His research includes an examination of historical changes of other countries’ social welfare policies, which could have implications for setting up sustainable social welfare policies in Korea.
