Laxana Paskaran is a doctoral student at in the Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies program at York University. Her research lies at the intersection of social reproduction and platform labour. Moreover, her research contributes to current debates about how social reproduction, the social relations that reproduce labour power, is understood in diverse social contexts and how it can effectively advance analyses that integrate gender, race and class. She holds an MEd and an HBSc from the University of Toronto.
