Mahalli is a researcher and digital accessibility staff at the Center for Disability Studies and Services at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, where he has worked since 2017. Currently, he is a research assistant for the Velomobility for Disability Research project, funded by The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. He specializes in digital accessibility, disability studies, sociology and assistive technology, focusing on enhancing inclusion for people with disabilities. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Disability and Gender Studies from Universitas Brawijaya and has contributed to projects like the Indonesian Journal of Disability Studies and research on digital accessibility and technology.
