During the ESD-Net Global Meeting in Tokyo (Japan) on 18-20 December 2023, the UNITWIN Network on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Societal Transformation published their shared vision on ESD that goes beyond the current role in the ESD for 2023 Programme for the SDGs. Based on research evidence, UNITWIN Members acknowledged the crucial function of ESD being a key enabler for a sustainable future with a role to transform societies.
