The CITY institute is proud to co-sponsor and present Performing Diaspora 2013: The History of Urban Music in Toronto. This full day conference will feature the "scholarship of budding Canadian hip hop academic alongside the oral histories of Toronto's pioneering Hip Hop practitioners in order to explore and uncover the history of Toronto Hip Hop."
This first annual conference will be held June 1st from 10am-6pm in ACW 109 at York University (Keele Campus). A $10 registration fee will be charged. Participants are asked to register in advance here.
