Distance Education, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies at York University, offers a variety of undergraduate courses in a number of subject areas. Students enrolled in our distance education courses experience flexible and engaging courses in internet (INTR), correspondence (CORS) and blended (LECI) formats. Study on your own schedule from the convenience of your home, office, public library from anywhere in the world.
Distance courses use the same text books and cover the same course material as in-class sections. Students enrolled in distance education courses will be expected to complete assignments by specific due dates and write supervised formal on campus examinations in person. For specific course requirements, assignment submission instructions, examination options for students studying from a distance, refer to the student requirements and important information and services below.
