Welcome

Researchers in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) engage in exciting research and scholarship of local, national and international significance. Through a range of disciplinary, interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches, they develop knowledge that provides insight into issues that affect our world and then identify innovative ways to apply their findings.

By working with community and industry partners, investors, and government, they bring long-term benefits to us all. By engaging graduate and undergraduate students in their research activities, LA&PS faculty members are nurturing Canada's next generation of researchers and thinkers.
