Encyclopedia of Emancipation and Abolition in the Trans-Atlantic World Work has begun on The Encyclopedia of Emancipation and Abolition in the Trans-Atlantic World, to be edited by Junius P. Rodriguez and published by M.E. Sharpe, Inc.Scheduled to appear in June 2005, the two-volume work will comprise alphabetically arranged entries on all aspects of the subject and is intended to provide an overview of current scholarship in the field. The publisher is providing modest stipends (ranging from $25 to $60 per article) for contributors to this new project.
