The role of Marketing & Communications Division is to bring clarity to what York stands for among its many target audiences and to enhance the reputation of York by communicating York in a strategic and consistent way.

The Marketing & Communications Division was set up in January 2003 to meet the specialized communications needs of the University in the highly competitive education marketplace by ensuring that all communications, throughout the university, consistently meet high standards, reflect our mission and are inline with our brand strategy.

The Marketing & Communications Division includes the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer and comprises three specializations:
