The health and safety of our guests and staff is of paramount importance to the Food Services team. Because of heightened concerns around COVID-19, we are transitioning our food service operations to a pre-ordered delivery model for students living in residence beginning Monday, April 6, 2020.
Select a day’s worth of meals by noon for next-day delivery
Menus will be available on the Catertrax website and updated regularly.

Select your meals for the week by noon on the previous day by filling out the Aramark Catertrax online module. There will be no same day delivery. You don’t need to purchase all three meals each day.
The University has worked with Aramark to provide the meals at a reasonable price for you. The cost for three meals a day will be $19.95.
- Breakfast: $4.95
- Lunch: $6.50
- Dinner: $8.50
Payment
You can pay online using your YU-card or credit card. Debit and cash are not accepted.
You can check your YU-card account balance and add funds using the YU-card website or mobile app.
If you run into financial challenges because you had not planned to be in residence at this point, please contact oscr@yorku.ca.
Dietary considerations and allergies
The weekly menu will accommodate a wide variety of allergens and dietary considerations, including vegetarian, vegan, halal and meals made without gluten. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies you have in the comment box on the Catertrax online module and Aramark will work to provide meals that meet your individual needs.
Food safety and handling
As many meals will be served hot, residents should eat their meals within two hours of being served or should refrigerate them for later consumption.
Delivery + pick up
Meals will be delivered in bags labeled with your room number and will include disposable cutlery.
Meals will be dropped off at during three separate meal periods each day:
- Breakfast: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m.
- Dinner: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
You’ll pick up your meals from your closest common room (PDF). See attached for a pdf list.
Remember to practice physical distancing when picking up your meals, and please exercise care to ensure you are taking the correct bag.
