Panel Discussion on Knowledge and Sustainability in Smart Cities

The poster has a red background with a dot grid on the upper and lower right corners. The lower right corner has a white icon illustration of an individual from the neck-up. The upper left corner has a black half-circle with text "KNOWLEDGE & SUSTAINABILITY IN SMART CITIES".On November 29th, 2019 CITY hosted its third CITY Seminar for the 2019-2020 term. Our third seminar, "Knowledge and Sustainability in Smart Cities," featured a panel discussion with Dr. Natasha Tusikov (CITY member and Professor in the Department of Social Science), Dr, Teresa Abbruzzese (CITY member and Professor in the Urban Studies program), Dr. Negin Minaei (CITY Visiting Scholar), Dr. Frederick Peters (CITY Visiting Scholar), and Antony Riley (Urban Studies undergraduate student and DARE winner).

This panel grew out of our developing interest in Smart Cities, knowledge and data at the City Institute as well as the two working groups that have been established in the 2018-2019 year on Smart Cities through the work of our active faculty, visiting scholars and student membership.
