Yoast Update

Yoast Update

Part of our ongoing efforts involve continuously optimizing the website. As such some of you may have experienced an issue with posts and the broken links on your website. This was due to the update of the Yoast SEO Plugin. Currently it is centrally activated, however from this update, it caused a central issue. To fix this issue from happening in the future we will centrally disable the plugin. However, it is still critical that you use this plugin to manage your SEO and visual on search words. Therefore, once the plugin is disabled, we would like to get each website manager to reactivate it by following the steps below. This will ensure there is no central issue happening again.

To note: Yoast gets updated periodically, so users will sometimes see messages detailing new functionality or changes and may sometimes need to click to upgrade their Yoast datatables or re-save permalinks settings as outlined below. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out or join us in our weekly website drop-in meetings.

Steps to enable Yoast SEO:

1. Go to “Plugins” on CMS dashboard left side menu

2. Scroll down to “Yoast SEO”

3. Click “activate” under the title
