The use and scalability of employing digital health tools and systems can play an important role in how people in both the Global North and Global South can achieve higher standards of health, better coordinate and share health information, and promote more efficient access to health services. Currently, there is a massive push around the world to develop the infrastructure and systems for information and communication technologies for health to promote equitable, affordable, and universal access to their benefits.
