Mixed Methods Research Team

The Mixed Methods Research Team (MM-RT) will be responsible for integrating the findings from the qualitative and quantitative components of this project to tell the “big picture” story of 2SLGBTQ+ poverty in Canada.

In order to accomplish this, we will:

1

Provide support to the Qualitative and Quantitative Research Teams to develop data collection instruments (qualitative interview guide and quantitative survey) that will compliment one another;

2

Examine the findings from the qualitative interviews and quantitative survey to identify areas for further study in the focus group phase of the project;

3

Work together with the Community Advisory Board to bring together the findings from all the strands of the study and identify key areas for action to address 2SLGBTQ+ poverty in Canada.

Currently, the team is in the process of reviewing the draft interview guides and survey, and supporting the work of the Qualitative and Quantitative Research Teams.
