Our cross-disciplinary Team, comprising scholars and community partners focused on 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion and/or anti-poverty advocacy, will be the first to examine the prevalence and risk of poverty in 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and impacts on their social wellbeing, health, and socioeconomic empowerment.

Consistent with principles of Community-Based Participatory Research, we have assembled a Community Advisory Board comprised of 2SLGBTQ+ people with experiences of poverty, to inform all aspects of the project.

Our 22 community partners will co-produce the research through involvement in design, data analysis, knowledge uptake, implementation, and impact.

Finally, the academic team includes 27 members including students at masters, doctoral and post doc levels, assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors across social sciences, humanities, and health disciplines, with inter-institutional supports.
