YCAR was pleased to host Yasunori Nakayama, Consular General of Japan, at York University on 6 May 2015.

In his talk, Mr. Nakayama provided an overview of Japan’s post-war security policies. After the event, he had the opportunity to view the sakura (cherry) trees in bloom on campus.

The Department of Political Science co-hosted Mr. Nakayama's visit.
