YCAR faculty associate and Assistant Professor in Children's Studies, Kabita Chakraborty, wins the 2016 President's University-Wide Teaching Award in the category of full-time faculty. The award recognizes faculty for their contributions to enhancing the quality of learning for York students. Chakraborty was recognized in particular for creating a fun and practical learning environment for her students.
