Project Content:
The urgent call to protect our world, especially addressing climate change, remains a top priority. According to the 2022 KPMG Sustainability Survey report, 94% of Canadian companies surveyed voluntarily report their sustainability efforts. In 2024, banks, including RBC, will be requested by OSFI to disclose specific ESG information. This aligns with the growing trend of clients seeking sustainable finance options, emphasizing the importance of aligning financial choices with environmental values. During the project, students will assess the ESG/Sustainability practices of RBC and RBC’s competitors and present their findings to senior leaders, with the potential for their ideas to be implemented.
