About Me

I am a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I am a former high school math and physics teacher, before returning to the world of graduate studies and education. I worked for 5 years at Brock University and the University of Guelph, before joining York University full time in 2018. I am primarily interested in mathematics education and pedagogy, with a particular interest in the transition from high school to university, peer leadership, supplemental instruction, and mathematical skills development.
