About

I have been extensively involved in teaching university-level biology topics for over 10 years. I place a strong emphasis on teaching students how to think critically and problem solve resourcefully. I employ innovative evidence-based practices to maximize student learning. I have and continue to contribute to curriculum design, course development, creation of teaching tools, as well as science education research. I am always eager to collaborate with educators and students to continuously improve undergraduate biology education in Canada.
