About

I am truly fascinated by the bioprocesses involved in the production of food; treatment of water, soil, and waste; and development of vaccines and health care biotechnologies. I am inspired by the Ontario biotech sector which in recent years has seen growth in areas such as the production of sustainable food and biochemicals. Teaching and learning about biotechnology have been central to my career; they are my passion. My ambition is to combine my love for teaching with my applied science background to advance Ontario biotechnology.
