As the Director of Teaching Development in the Teaching Commons, I provide strategic and operational leadership to guide faculty programming in Decolonization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (DEDI), modes of delivery and student engagement, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the scholarship of teaching and learning. A recognized international scholar in teaching and learning, I hold a PhD from York University’s Faculty of Education and have taught at multiple universities across Ontario and in Saskatchewan. My research has been published in journals such as Teaching and Learning Inquiry, International Journal for Academic Development, and The Canadian Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Natasha is engaged with projects that involve modes of delivery and engagement. Her focus is evidence-informed teaching practices for each mode of delivery at York, and incorporating engagement strategies to foster student learning. Natasha has designed and taught courses at York in all modes of delivery (blended, in-person, online, even hyflex).
