iClicker Cloud is the university supported solution for engagement through polling.
The solution promotes active learning in the classroom by allowing students to easily respond to questions with their own personal devices and receive instant feedback. An instructor can then easily identify misconceptions and provide additional explanation to ensure students understand the subject matter.
iClicker cloud allows an instructor to ask questions on the fly which maintains students attention, improves their focus and engagement in the classroom. At the end of class, students can review the study guides to reinforce what was covered.
The service is free to use and is available to every member of our York University community.
