UIT is currently working with the local IT support groups and HR on the deployment of Microsoft Windows 10.
The project team is engaged in the assessment with a priority on minimizing any impact to teaching and learning, and University business operations.
Adoption of Windows 10 will be completed in phases:
Phase I, starting end of April 2017
- Pilot within UIT
- UIT Computing Commons (WSC and ACE 017)
- UIT meeting rooms in Steacie
Phase II, starting end of June 2017
- UIT supported community (new computers only)
Phase III, starting end of August 2017
- Student labs managed by UIT
- Classrooms
