To find your computer name on a computer running Windows 7

1. Click Start
2. Right-click on Properties 

3. Under the "Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings" section you will see "Computer name". Record that name. We recommend you send it to yourself in an email, text it to yourself or save it in a OneDrive document; whatever way works best so you'll be able to access it anywhere
