The employment of foreign academics is governed by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, Immigration Refugees & Citizenship Canada, and Employment and Social Development Canada.
During the application process, you will be asked about your current eligibility to work in Canada (e.g., as a citizen or permanent resident, through a work permit). This information is a mandatory part of the application for tenure-track and contractually-limited faculty appointments. No application will be considered without it.
